I love my 1985 Champion 184, but I ended up getting a 1998 Triton TR21 because I couldn't find a Champion in my price range.

Took delivery of a brand new 18 TRX on Aug 24. I am not very impressed with the build quality of the boat so far. When I brought it home I went over everything and found issues with several very loose fasteners, a factory option for a center bench seat not installed, and lots of "stuff" (i.e. - trash) inside the hull, for instance, an empty Cheetos bag. The first time I took the boat out it took on water in the bilge area; the temperature on the console fish finder wouldn't display; the Ghost trolling motor wouldn't anchor lock; and the live well drain pump was very loose and not even close to being tightened enough. The boat has been back at the dealer ever since for 5 weeks now. I want to like this boat and I am hoping everything is corrected. I looked up the Lemon Laws in my state and while I am not of a litigious nature if it has to go back one more time to the dealer I will probably at the very least speak with legal representation.
