Driving home from work yesterday they had a pop up tent handing out free bibles. First I've even seen of this. Just a few people under the tent and a table stacked with bibles. Cars were pulling up and they handed them thru your wind. Pretty cool.
Is this common other places and it's just making it out this way?
I’ve never seen this, but glad that someone got the idea to do it.

We are in Orlando this week and stayed at a Marriott property. There was a Book of Mormon in one dresser and a Bible in another. There is also a Bible in the drawer in our room at Disney.Not sure that is true any longer for the most part.

Gideons have long been renown for giving out free Bibles.
Personally I have not seen one in any of the hotels I have stayed the last couple of years but that was in NY and NJ areas. Maybe they figure you can view on your smartphone if you are so inclined.
The Bibles are given out by the Gideon's. They distribute bibles all over the world and printed in most all languages.
