    Disappointed

I sent an email to Lowrance 1 week ago saying that my Ghost arrow had stopped moving. I provided the SN and everything I had done to remedy the situation. Got an automated confirmation email that they had received my email and then nothing since. I constantly defend these guys but I really am starting to understand the frustration. I know there is a solution, just send me the damn part! Why is it so difficult?

    Is that a rhetorical question?

They will probably send you the white teflon disc, even after you tell them you have already tried 5 of them.

They lost my support when they started releasing products that didn’t work together without the future software updates.

Ask for tier 2 as soon as they answer. Try a Lowrance service center. They are out there and may worth a phone call. I ran a Garmin trolling motor on a boat today. Not a good machine.

Humm the trolling motor guys in Texarcana are pushing the Garmin trolling motor
I remember when Garmin had the ghost tree issue and they got beat up pretty badly on social media
i also remember when hummingbird launched their live sonar which didn’t go well initially and they got beat up on social media
I think all of our major players have had difficulty the past few years. I am not as familiar with Garmin and bird customer support but the guys with the first launch of the bird live sonar and Garmin ghost tree issue were not happy with customer support either

Garmins update introduced the Ghost Tree and Garmin kept trying to act like it didn’t exist. Yeah, when a business tells lies, people get angry.

. The problem is that they get hundreds of emails per day from idiots that don’t know if their trolling motor dies or their batteries died but somehow it is always Lowrance fault. I seen a guy go off on Lowrance because his plug was corroded!

Out of 100 units sent to Lowrance as bad 60 of them power up and ends up being a boat problem but it's always Lowrance's fault.

I can understand everything you guys are saying. All I want is the Teflon disk. Seems like that would be simple enough. They don’t have to even contact me again. Just send the part along with an email receipt saying it’s on the way. I’m going to try and go through their phone system tomorrow. I got a new arrow from an ASC and it seems to be working. Just would be smoother with the replacement part.

and this doesn’t happen to all the other brands? Are you implying that Lowrance users are dumber?

My AT1 worked fine, until I did a super awesome update to it. Now I get lockups, yep…what a great company!

My mfd had a cover that was so tight it broke the bezel. After 2 months back and forth a lady said my mfd didn’t come with a bezel so it wasn’t under warranty. There’s a Lowrance page that I messaged and that lady took care of me right away. May want to try that

Mine is always off by a 10-15* it seems - I have the teflon disc, and clean/lube the sides often :(. I've got the c-stick but tbh I am tempted to do the superglue fix...

I tried to follow that video but when I got the whole thing apart, the magnet wouldn’t come out. Seems mine is really glued in. I’ve got a new arrow and am going out tomorrow. Will see how it looks.
