I don't care for the Grateful Dead, Phish, and I hate Dave Mathews Band but that has a lot to do with my ex-wife.

I've always thought Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty were overrated.

Did people really mention Garth Brooks in this thread? Country music pretty much sucks but Garth Brooks is fantastic. Friends in Low Places is the greatest country music song of all time and there's nothing remotely close.

I don't hate Garth but I don't really think his music is really country. It's pop dressed up as country but it's far from country to me.

I never have been impressed with the so called celebrities that the media seems to favor. For that matter, media personalities are boring too. I can't think of a single actor I would cross the street to see. Anyone who thinks playing "let's pretend" is in any way connected to actual productive work is as stupid as they are dillusional.

Different strokes for different folks, but folks dissing RUSH just ain't right. Neil Peart(RIP)-primary lyricist and many times voted greatest rock drummer,Alex Lifeson-guitar phenom, and Geddy Lee,master bass guitar/keyboards and one of the greatest lead singers there will ever be. The Rock Hall Of Fame are a bunch of MORONS because this group should've been inducted WAY before 2016. One of my all time favorite bands.

    Good List

I’m dropping Chevy Chase but adding Will Ferrell.

I never thought Steve Martin was funny saw him in 1972 he was opening for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band thought his act was stupid wished he played the Banjo more. However the same act made him rich 3-4 years later.

I don't think they suck. I just don't care for their music. Other than a song or three it all sounds the same to me. Like one really long song cut up into bits. They are talented no doubt.
Music is such a personal thing. It has to hit me and I have to feel it on some level. I just don't get that connection with their music.

I liked moving pictures, but I just can't stand how so many songs sound alike. Super talented musicians for sure, I just don't care for their music.
