    Hmmm... wonder why it was running rough last weekend?

    Installed some new silicone boots and she ran like a scalded dog:)

    No doubt, it wouldn't hurt to go through the carbs and fuel pumps. LU is new, had the heads off a couple of years ago, and replaced the poppet valve and thermostats then. Once it's warmed, it starts the second you crack the key.

    I go by the old adage that "there's two kinds of 2-strokes - those that have blown up, and those that will blow up". Sure was pleased that it was nothing more than a misfire.

    Yap - changed them all out for crimp-on silicone boots and ends. WP hose was getting chafed - trimmed that back and resealed and changed out the water/fuel cartridge. I did compression and leakdown on it at the beginning of the season. The old gal is over 30 years old - a lot to be said for how they were built back then.
