250XS 1E001830 Pressure in main oil tank, reservoir not filling

Putting together my boat. Did my oil prime sequence and started motor. Loosened cap on reservoir and ran after prime sequence since that took a bit out of reservoir. Reservoir won’t fill. I checked main tank, when opened main tank had pressure hiss when cap was loosened. Two gallons of oil in main tank. Hoses all appear good. Removed lower cowling to inspect. Been reading check valve or compression loss. Hoping check valve. I know there is one under oil pump, and one below tank. Any other thoughts?
    Thanks in advance

Check the screens on the pickup in the bilge tank and replace the in-line filter in the hose that goes to the engine mounted tank.
If you getting 3 psi of pressure in the bilge tank it is not check valve or reed problem.
    Thank You Leon Pugh

Did inline filter to reservoir, check valve on starter side and check valve under the reservoir. Working perfect now. Not sure which one it was. Did oil prime on pc and bled air on reservoir after starting.

Why did you need to do a oil prime?

Wasn't necessary, but certainly didn't hurt anything...
