    Kentucky Lake This Fall

I might venture to Ky Lake this fall. Depending on the weather, do you think November would be better than October? Thanks

I will tag onto this. I am thinking of making a last minute trip next week when my son is on fall break. Any suggestions on boat friendly places to stay?

If you're staying on the south end, The Lake Lodge at Paris Landing is pretty awesome. Stayed there last fall for the first time, covered parking for your boat, nice new rooms, just a few minutes from the ramp. The # online will get you to Eric, great guy. Midlake area Fin and Feathers and Early American are ok. North end we always stayed at Bel Air, they're under new owners and looks like they recently did a remodel. All are boat friendly.

Not picky as I have never been there. I do want to stay in TN so o don’t have to buy a KY license.

Thanks for the thoughts, guys. I'm near St. Louis, so your mid-fall should be a little later than ours. I've never been there past early October, so I'll shoot for late November or into December.

Thanks for the heads up. Most of the classics we have fished there have been in September, but it sounds like it will be another foot lower than those trips. I might be staying in your town at the Benton Inn. Do you happen to know anything about their setup for boat parking/charging and general safety? Thanks again.

Kentucky and Tennessee have a reciprocal agreement from the Us68/ KY80 Bridge north of Murray to the Hwy 79 bridge in Tennessee.
The Blood River arm is NOT included in the agreement.

If you want a place that caters to fishermen near Paris Landing Marina check out Fishtale Lodge. It’s a couple miles from the marina.
you can park your boat in front of your room with electric hook up for charging batteries.

I live about 4 miles from the Marina.

Thank you for that info. Sounds like the agreement on Dale Hollow for most of the lake. I will check out this lodge. Sounds like what I am looking for although I am going to search for a place on the water with a dock as well.

I will look the Benton Inn over in the morning. I don't think there is much room there.

If you want a place on the water Near Paris Landing check out Buchanan’s Resort. It is just south of the Hwy 79 bridge in Eagle Creek.
Also contact the Paris Landing Marina. They may have slips available this time of year.

I80 runs through from San Francisco to New Jersey via Chicago. Kentucky Lake is big, but not that big. The northern end of the reciprocal agreement is the US68/KY80 bridge.

The Benton Inn has no place for a boat. One of the others they have recommended will work. The Bel Aire is now the Lakehouse Inn.

Their website claims that they have boat parking/charging, but after looking at pics of the place, I had my doubts. I really appreciate the look-see. Thanks again.
