winterizing process???

I know it's only august but i'll be putting my boat away in mid september.
I have a 1990 Johnson GT and I want to prepare it for winter myself...

what is involved in the process.. what is a list of things that need to be done..

You will need to add BRP fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank, and run the motor to circulate it through the fuel system.

You will need BRP fogging oil to fog the motor.

You need to change the lower unit fluid to be sure there is no water in the case.

Disconnect the hoses from water pressure and speedo guages so they wont freeze over the winter storage.

Follow the instructions on the BRP products.

There is a bit more that is done at your dealer but this will make sure the motor is ready to run in the spring.
