The serial number is also on the box it came in.
You also have a unique Unit ID that you can see on the unit under System Information->Garmin Devices.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.
Mine are on the back of the unit, you have to remove it from the cradle.
