    what's going on with mega 360

    this is only second time on the water with my new 360. it definitely appears not to be working properly! did I get a bad transducer? I tried to upload a video but it wouldn't go. thanks for the help

    the sweep on left is black. I switched it over to side imaging and it's very faint on left side. since I just bought this I think I'm gonna try calling bass pro first.

    does anyone know what is going with this transducer? did I get a bad one? I hooked up my regular si transducer and that seems to be working. and I don't have a y cable . I have a trip in 9 days so need to figure this out.

    Some have received one with a dead or weak piezo on one side. A Y cable won't fix it.

    I got off the phone with humminbird. my helix 12 doesn't have the latest update. since I don't have wifi or a computer they are sending me a card with the current update on it. they are overnight the card. so do update tomorrow and then water test it. since it's only 2 weeks the guy thought the faster option might be get a new one through bass pro? or am I risking getting one with the same problem? I leave for mille lacs on the 22nd

    Not everyone has that issue, it's a crapshoot if you get it more than once.

    ok thank you....I think if the updating the helix doesn't work , I will contact bass pro. the humminbird guy said if be tough to get it back by the 22nd. the mega 360 itself hasn't the latest update. my helix is at 2.660.

    There is one more thing you can try--Restore Defaults.

    we did that while I was on phone. then I just did the water test using a bucket full of water. it didn't change anything

    I have experienced this a few times. Unplugging and plugging back in the transducer cable usually does the trick. I assume you have tried this?

    yes in a way I have. I have unplugged it a couple times at the head unit.

    update, finally got the SD card to get current update! well that didn't change anything. bass pro is sending a new one and be here on Tuesdsy. cause I'm a club member they are doing an exchange ahead of a return! will have 30 days to return old one but obviously won't wait that long! now crossing my fingers the new one doesn't have any problems!
