    Echomap UHD 93SV Voltage Discrepancy

The battery voltage on the Echomap display shows 12.0-12.1 volts. The voltage measured at the cradle is 12.5 volts matching the voltage at the AGM battery. I only have a transducer connected to the Echomap. I have blown out the cradle pin holes and the pins on the Echomap appear to be clean and straight. Garmin tech support tells me there is not a way to calibrate the Echomap to the correct voltage.
Anyone have a suggestion to get the correct voltage reading on the Echomap?

I believe the voltage reading on the screen is under a load. Either way, sounds like the wire thickness going from battery to cradle is too small.

I have an Echomap Ultra 102 and it indicates between 0.2 and 0.3 volts too much compared to the battery. My Helix 12 indicates 0.3 volts less on the same battery. Both are filled with 10 awg.

I never put much into the voltage displayed on my units, eventually just turn that overlay off.....

I have 3 - 93SV units on the same battery, 2 on one line and the third on a separate line, all 10 ga and they all read different voltage. As long as one doesn't say 10 volts, I don't really worry with it.

Most people will recommend at leasts 8 gauge tinned wire ran all the way to the units. Not saying that’s the issue, but is borderline under sized with 3 units.

2 units on one wire, and the other unit is on it's own wire. All 10 ga marine tinned wire.
