2008 250 HO Starts and idles fine but won't get on plane. I tried new plugs and fuel filter, but still the same. Brought in to shop, they say it is one of the fuel injectors. Fine, but unfortunately they're backordered from BRP until October. Any chance anyone here knows where I can find one?
can't they be cleaned and overhauled?

Don’t be so fast to condem an injector unless there is a verified electrical failure.

no one can do anything without knowing the engine model number of the engine or part number of the injector. By the way there are different part number for port and starboard.
sounds like a injector to me, i just had the same problem and yes they told me they were backordered.
look on the internet, there's a lot of places that might have one, Mine was warranteed and they replaced it for free plus then $292 Boat ride they took it for.
I found one at Crowley Marine for around $400, i bought it, just to have a spare.

Thank you all for your input, my dealer thinks that it's an electrical issue with it, but I just got good news... They found one at a different dealer somewhere and it's on the way. I'll send my bad one in to Barnacle Bill's when I get my boat back. If they can refurbish it, I'll have a spare.
08'? I'd send em all to Barnacles for cleaning and flow testing, maybe off season?
