    What knot is best?

I am attaching fluorocarbon to braid...I am currentlyt using a "blood" knot...but Ive heard that the uni-knot and the seaguar knot is better...The blood knot works good for me on my dropshot rig, tying 6lb Berkley 100% to 20lb braid(6lb diameter)..but Im wanting to start using on my heavier applications, like my jig rod where I use 15lb Berkley 100%...is the blood knot strong enough for this?...if not, what is? Thanks!

I just discovered the Alberto or modified Albright. Pretty sweet. Supposedly close to 100 percent because it's not a true knot, but whip finished.

+1 for the Modified Albright / Alberto. I've used it for about a year tieing 10# Fireline to 8# fluoro on my crappie rods. If you've ever fished for crappie in brush piles then you know that if you're not breaking off you're not fishin'....I can't remember breaking a line to leader knot since I started using it.

Here's a good pictorial on how to tie:

Always used a Double Uni Knot....easy to tie and never had an issue.
