One pole will not deploy

Last night one pole would not deploy with either remote or at the unit itself. The green light is flashing but couldn't get it to deploy. Does anyone have a way to diagnose or should I just call PP customer service?

Green flashing LED and the pump does not run from any buttons typically means a failed circuit board. If you have dual poles you can swap boards to test.

If CM2.0 board this would fall under warranty

Swap circuit board from good pump to pump not working takes bout min or 2. If it now works found your problem and can give powerpole a call for a new board.

Thanks Kevin, Turns out it was the cap, they sent me a new one and then did a total power off reboot and that was the trick.

I am having this problem on a brand new boat with 20 hrs too, I swapped circuit boards, changed fuses and still the pole won't go down from any remote or the buttons on the pump. I installed a new wire harness base(sent from JL warranty and spliced in). Any chance the pump could be bad? When I turn on the power I hear the chime and today it even sounded like the pole moved a little, but immediately stopped again.

I've got one pole that won't respond to the foot stomp buttons or the lanyard but works perfect off the main buttons on the console. I replaced batteries in both but nothing. All the remotes will operate the one pole fine but only one will work them both. Any ideas? They're blades

did you pair everything to both pumps?

yeah I had to re pair the other 2 remotes for some reason. Everything is good now.
