does anyone use lizards all year long?
I either flip and pitch them, or c rig them about anytime of the year.

one of my go to baits, seems like a lot of people have gone to the more bulky creature style baits, and the fish haven't seen them in while. and definetely on a c-rig![]()
Works just about anytime, but mainly in spring for me![]()
I'd say the only time I don't throw em is maybe DEC & JAN. Weightless is great, just slower pace. Maybe a little weight out in front bout 10". Darn good down here.
Until the lake freezes over, kinda hard to get them thru the ice. They are just a fat ribbon tailed worm with legs.
when the gator eggs start hatching down here, there is nothing better than a gambler loco lizard. swim them on top through the pads and hold on.
did well on one texas rigged last weekend. they didnt seem to want the larger profile brush hog type bait and the u-tale worms were gettin dink bites. few of my better fish came on that t-rigged lizard. Was one of shaw grisbys ones u can get at dicks
