A tip I found elsewhere, but should be mentioned here, is if you are going to work on your actuator, go out and get some 3/4 inch dowel. Push the pins out of the actuator with the dowel, then cut the dowel such that it is flush with the inside of the actuator. This allows you to remove the actuator in one piece without the wheels falling out. Sliding it back in with the dowels in place is real easy. Then you push the dowels out with the metal pins and put on the snap rings.

    I feel your pain!

    great article!

mu pops taught me a trick too
put rubber hose on bleeder zert
put end of hose into a bottle 1/4 filled with brake fluid
Chock wheels solid on both sides
    pull forward, back up
    add fluid to Resivoir

hose in fluid lets air out but sucks fluid back instead of air

i e gotten to the point when my trailer brakes quit, I just weld a slide stop to my trailer to keep tongue from sliding in and out
