I was hoping someone would be able to tell me the size of the split rings found on "most" crankbaits. I am swapping a few of mine to the Oval rings to tie to like the ones found on LC baits and I don't want to over do it.

3 or 4 on the average lure, I will use a 0,1, or 2 a lot of times to get a bigger hook on.

Thanks for the replies fellas, but are we talking about the same ring? I was referring to the one that comes on the line tie on crankbaits and jerkbaits.

I dont know the size of the rings I mostly use I think it might be a 2, not sure. Anyway I use the oval split rings I think they work a lot better than the circle ones.
