Can not go wrong with Gamakatsu round bend treble.
The Gamakatsu trebles are great, but my issue is they only seem to come in even sizes (2,4,6, etc.). If you can find VMC trebles anywhere in your area or online, they make a great hook as well, and can often be found in odd sizes. I really love the size 3 treble for Pointer 100s, smaller cranks and 1/2 oz. Rat-L-Traps.

OWNER all day long. 3X if possible, but 2X are fine. Use the hyper wire split ring too. You wont be dissapointed
I use to be all Gama, but after using Owner 3X hooks, man there is no going back

Owner stinger trebles..
Many times, after replacing hooks with what appears to be the correct size, I spend most of my fishing times, unfouling the front and rear hooks from each other. That is why I posted the inquiry below about the hook chart.
I need a chart as well, what size hooks for a dd22, bandit 200s, rogues, and 1/4oz traps?

There is a hook chart for swimbaits on tackletour.com, but i have not seen one for cranks n such....

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
3/4oz. lipless and deep divers I like Mustad Triple Grip
or Gamagatsu EWG, both hooks #2.
1/2oz. lipless and medium divers- #4, both hooks.
My hookup ratio is way up there going this route.

Traps, topwater (except walking baits) or around grass which is most of the time I used triple grips, other than that gammy's.
I posted earlier asking if anyone had a chart showing what hooks were used on what baits. Maybe we can create our own. This morning Bandit Lures told me they used VMC 8561 #6 on their 100's, 200's and 300's. Its a start...
