Guntersville in Early March

Headed to Lake Guntersville the last week of February or first week in March(maybe both If I can get away with it). Is there in BBC brother's that can give me any pointers. My first trip to this lake. Any info would be helpful. I would love to have a good week of fishing. Thanks for any tips-T

good luck gettin a response from him, or much information from anyone. everyone is lock jawed when it comes to info down there. i was just down there in december had 19# for five fish, all on a ledge. im assuming early march you will find the big girls coming up to spawn. your gonna have two phases going on. spawn and pre spawn. your big fish spawn first around this time im guessing. go around sight fishing, flipping docks, find your long flats.

Alex also helped me out with a game plan. I have also heard from others that late Feb is trap city along with pointer 100s into March? Don't know many spots though.

Don't feel bad. I've been fishing Guntersville since April of this year and still have a hard time figuring them out. With so much grass and the sheer size of it, I've came close to giving up on G'ville a few times. I've stopped taking my wife there because she skunks me every time. Guess I'll have to save my allowance and get me a guide.
