for me it depends on what im doing.....i like them on a Carolina rig in the winter when the fish arent really active but when the fish are active i like them wacky style....jsut depends on what im doing
I am not much of a senko person either but when I do fish on eit is T rigged![]()

i throw them around weeds mostly, so i go weightless t-rig. if the weeds are sparse or relatively few things to get snagged on, i go wacky.
skipping docks i always go t-rig....
in most cases i prefer t-rig because i can use a bigger hook!
I love throwing them wacky style, weightless.

Under bluebird skies when the fish are tucked under docks, skip them in and let 'em fall. Same goes for weedlines; but I usually cast on top of the weeds, then slowly pull the senko to the edge, and let it fall. The fish will hammer it as it flutters down.

It can be frustratingly slow, but effective.

Although, if fish are picking stuff up off the bottom. I'll carolina rig one wacky style too. Gets it down faster.![]()
Wacky rigged for super tough fishing conditions; high sunny skies, clear water, lakes with little to no vegetation and highly pressured bodies of water.
Use clear line and throw / skip it under docks, pontoon boats, or any other visible cover that you think will hold fish and then do nothing to it until it hits the bottom. Hop/Jerk it back to the boat in 1 - 2 foot increments and let it fall back down on a slack line. It catches fish when other baits just won't for me, I love them! I use the YUM dinger too, great bait, a few less $$$.
Also try rigging them weedless with a Gamakatsu 2/0 wide gap finesse hook with a wire guard if you are getting them hung up in brush piles or other cover.

Thanks guys for all the great info.now how about colors with water clarity. Seems most of the guys fish a lot of watermelon color but I've had some luck on solid white
Weightless, texas rigged. I never throw it wacky style.

If I'm pitching a 5-6 inch senko to holes in grass or pads, I use a texas rig with a 3/0 Reaction Innovations BMF hook or a 4/0 EWG Gammy, but if I have to finesse fish with a 4 incher, I go wacky because of the more natural and fluid action.
Good luck![]()
