    25 hp won’t stay running

    Two-stroke 25 hp serial number 0T487221. Engine will not stay running unless you constantly pump the bulb. Have replaced fuel line and bulb with OEM mercury items. Didn’t know if this has a pulse pump or anything like that where should we check next? Thank you.

    On eBay and Amazon 25 HP two stroke fuel pumps are less than $20.00. Did you open the vent on the fuel supply?

    yes vent on fuel supply is open. are the fuel pumps a diaphragm pump like a pulse pump or is it electric?

    is there a rebuild kit or do you just replace the whole thing? Is it available from mercury and if so what's the part number? thanks!!

    yes sir there is a kit , i cant look it up on MERC site its down right now and i about done with those folks it cost a lot a whole lot of money to be a MERC dealer and they could do better than this , this may help you 97611 but may have changed to new number
