Took a nice, new and out of the box Strike King Red Eye Shad in the Chrome Sexy Shad color (which is hard to find around West Michigan) to the lake with me today... tied it on 30# Power Pro braid... first cast... 26-27" pike comes out of nowhere and simply opens his mouth, takes the bait, and swims away with it. I barely even felt him hit it it was so quick and clean. Talk about pissed off!! Well, I just ordered a couple more from Tacklewharehouse since they seem to be the only ones who had it in stock.

I did manage to catch several toothy fish today... and my home made 40# Big Game leaders did well. Lost no fish, lost no baits using these leaders.
