    Livescope Plus transducer mount

With there being three different mounting options, what is the consensus for the most effective mount when forward view will be used exclusively?

You didn't list three options for mounting, but there are more than that. At least five-
    Trolling motor barrel.
    Trolling motor shaft.
Separate pole attached to the trolling motor shaft.
Separate pole attached to the boat.
    Transom mount.

There is separate pole attached to the trolling motor that is rotated by a motor (floor switches) that may fit your idea of most effective. As compared to reaching for and turning a separate pole or not being able to point it where you want, when you want, of the shaft mounted ones (due to controlling the boat).
I tried the trolling motor shaft mount and didn't like it. And now I use and like a separate, boat mounted one (fishing specialties), and don't see a need to change to anything else.

I should have been more specific regarding trolling motor shaft mount vs. trolling motor barrel mount vs. shaft mount with the “L arm”. I’m not too enthused about a separate pole for how I fish but I do see lots of crappie anglers with them.

I have this for my forward mount. Works good as it eliminates the angle from the factory mount.

As far as the boating world goes, that isn't bad. Plus you have a factory shaft mount that comes with your livescope that will work ok too.

Use the factory canted 8* mount on the shaft. Use the allen bolt and tighten good. Don't use the knob as it loosens. I saw very little difference with the zero degree mount.
