Tom Sellek - Back in mid 80's I and my then GF were playing a nine hole course in Grand Parrie , TX. We were about to tee off when this tall guy wearing a Detroit Tigers hat, ask if he and his buddy could join us. I knew the minute I looked up who he was. My GF was star structed. We talked the whole nine holes. He then invited us to lunch. He said he needed some down time and thats why he was in the area. Oj course I offered to pay for lunch, but He paid for lunch, we thanked him and they drove off. Nice guy, and loves Golf and Tigers.

    Tell us about meeting Ali.

Saw him once. 2012 West Regional in Phoenix. The entire arena stood and cheered as he walked courtside to his seat. He could barely walk. I was sad and happy at the same time.

Some of these encounters are really cool. It's insane how many celebs some of you guys have met. Keep em coming.

Calvin Borel lived down the street from my mom for awhile after his insane derby win on Mine That Bird. He was a character!

My cousin is kind of a celebrity. If you're older and know anything about horses, you might recognize the name, John Lyons.

When I was a child, Wes Unseld used to carry me around on his shoulders after games and when we would go to Bob's Big Boy in Fern Creek. My dad coached his State Champ High School team. Dad remained friends with Wes and was especially close to his brother George until he passed.

Got to meet and get an autograph from A. J. Foyt at a sprint car race.

Goodness this was probably 30 years ago. I have / was in some form of martial arts and competed since I was a young kid. One of the events out in west Louisville was a small hole in the wall event. Was out there doing our thing and all of a sudden in pops Ali. Apparently someone knew someone etc and he paid a visit. Time had already started to take its toll but he was still able to throw out some jabs etc. I think ive got pics at my parents somewhere. Royce Gracie would be another guy I met from martial arts.

She sat in out tent while she waited for a car service to pick her up. I actually thought she was way more beautiful in person then on screen.

also Met Robin Williams in a bar in Cannes, France he was just as funny in person and wouldn’t let any of us pay for our drinks while he was there which was about 4 hours.
