68-71 has been my top speed. How much fuel is probably 2-3 mph.

I’m thinking on trading up my TRX 20 so in the long run probably not worth it then?

No one would ever consider a Ranger being “worth it” if top end speed were the only factor.

If speed is your main concern then probably other faster boats.

If you want to go fast with a narrow bow, go with a BCB. Fastest boat I’ve been in. My partner in Louisiana was running low 80s. Great boat, very fast, but narrow and has a unique layout.

I can get mine to 68 and turning about 5800 RPM. By myself she'll start chine walking at 66. However, she doesn't chine walk when I have a passenger so I guess the extra weight balances the boat better.

I'm not a speed guy so I don't need to go 70. 60 mph is plenty for me in almost every situation. I care more about the rough water ride which the boat has proved to me it excels in.

you need to get that motor spinning at least 6000 rpm you should run 70 with ease
