    Thinking of getting one, any recommendations from the crowd? Any reason not to get one??

    For shaving face I use a Panasonic model ES-LV65.

    It does an excellent job. Much better than the Norelco, Remington, Schick, Wahl, and Braun shavers I have used.

    I guess Braun would be my second choice.

    Most electric shavers irritate the skin on my neck somewhat like a " heat " rash. Not a problem with the Panasonic.

    I have had a Braun Series 7 for several years now for shaving my face, and IMO, it does an excellent job. I buy a replacement shaving head every 9-12 months through Amazon and clean it daily. It has proven to be very durable.

    I purchased a Braun Series 9 recently and it's the best electric razor I've used. I used a Panasonic Arc5 prior to this for years and it was a good razor at a lower price than the Braun.
