The 11 runs the 9 into the wall and NASCAR suspends Chase Elliot. And they wonder why the fans are leaving. You can bet Hamlin will get Booed big time the rest of the year. He crashed the most popular driver for the last few years.

Heck if it were not for getting wrecked the Hendrick cars would have won well over half the races so far.
I don't like Hamlin and don't care much for Elliot, but Hamlin ran Elliot up to the wall not into it. Telemetry shows that Elliot deliberately hooked Hamlin head-on into the wall. NASCAR suspended Bubba for that, so they had to suspend Elliot also.

If I was in a Hendrick car the 11 would have a Real tough rest of the year.

Chase earned the suspension
Hell the whole broadcast crew, the caterer, and the cleaning lady across the street all knew the 9 hooked the 11. I'm no Hamlin fan, but fair is fair, as posted above - same 1 race suspension as BW. Personally, I think intentionally wrecking someone should be a larger penatly, but I guess Nascar is trying not to penalize agressive driving too hard. A loose tire is a 4 week sit, punching someone is free, and putting someone in the wall Rowdy Burns style is only a week?
If he wins a race will he get in The Chase at the end. If so it would be funny if he came back and wins the campionship after this.
I don't see that in my post... Honestly not a fan of either driver really, but hooking someone vs say bumping someone out the way, or running up out of the groove into someone are very different. I'm talking about blatent intentional action, ie Hamlin wrecking Chastian, Bubba/Larson, Preece/Larson, or Busch wrecking Hornady as an older example
But yes, anyone who intentially wrecks someone should sit for a few weeks at least imo.
Didn’t the 11 door slam the 9 three times before he hooked him?
It’s not like the 9 to purposely wreck someone without a real good reason.

That was this year. In 2022 he crashed Larson in Vegas. Career criminal
Bubba Wallace suspended after Las Vegas incident | NASCAR
Crashes are what makes it fun to watch. It's nothing like what it was back in the day.
lol yeah, I "dislike" the 11 more than I dislike the 9, but fans of neither. Nor the 22.
I'm an old school guy (or just an old guy hah) - Smoke, Kenseth, Harvick, M. Waltrip, Benson, Ward Burton and the like...
Today I do like the StewartHass guys, and Lajoie, Truex, Blaney and a few others.
But to be honest I find myself watching more of the Truck Series than anything lately...
I thought no one on BBC watched NASCAR?! Chase most certainly did it but 11 was being a pain to the 9 always trying to push him up into the wall. 11 thinks everyone should just get out of his way. At least there is talk about NASCAR, after all that is why the suspension was awarded. Otherwise, just let them race!
