    Chatterbaits?

    Is anyone still throwing them?

I called my stockbroker and asked him what I should be buying.
He said, \"Canned goods and ammunition\".

Yes. They work well on St. Clair.

Large heads like them!!! Green fish, not the bronze ones. Although, they like them too.

i wish our gander mtn would go out of business, should not even sale fishing stuff, everytime i am there i can not get what i want, first time i ever went into a sporting goods store and walked out empty handed, my wife loves that store now!

I would rather have a flat side crankbait in my hand when everyone is catching them on the chatterbait! i have had my ars whooped with that bait

I've done pretty well at times with the Booyah version.

The Gambler version was also on sale on their website. I guess their going to stop making them. They are my favorite of all of them. I stockpiled a bunch of them from Gambler's site. The best deal was by buying them without skirts or by buying the seperate components. Or if you liked Gambler plastics, you could buy the Swimblade and get a free bag of plastics with it. I don't know if the sale is still going on or not now. This was a couple months ago. I'd guess it would last till they run out of them. But I catch a ton of fish on those in the spring. The actual Chatterbait brand I havn't caught much at all on.

I've caught a few really nice fish on the chatterbait brand, none on the booyah version. I find the chatterbait versiona little more compact. I like to ditch the trailer they send with teh baits and put on a 3" grub. Works for me also on spinnerbaits. I dont have much luck with the larger spinnerbait trailers.

That is kind of odd that some guys do good on one brand of them and can't catch a thing off the others. Thats how I am too tho, I can smoke them on the Gambler version and I havn't caught squat off the others I've tried. I guess its a confidence thing and which one you start catching fish with first. I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they do good with any of them. Everyone has the one they like and say the rest they can't catch anything with. That just shows how big of a deal it is to have confidence in what your throwing.
