I dont smoke in my old age but I have taken a trip to a dispensary or two. You get to pick the products you want and the THC content of that product is right on the container. Its just like alcohol just pick your percent and have at it. Every choice in life has side effect, to much fishing, to much alcohol, driving to fast, you name it and if you do it to often it is bad for you.
If you have manners and try even a little bit you can smoke pot in the same room and most wont even know. My brother smoked for years in my moms house and she never once smelled it. A toilet paper roll and a few dryer sheets and you are good to go.
Your broad brush just made it seem as if I use, and I dont based on the possibility of randoms at work - you’ll get something right eventually. However I am 100% inline with Americans being allowed to make decisions on their own - like if I want to go to the liquor store and buy that perfectly legal 1/2gal of cheap vodka, chug it in its entirety, and pass put drunk. I think I should be allowed to smoke a bowl in the evening like others due with a glass of wine. The choice of mine would have 0 effect on your life at all.
Thanks for the tips on clandestine weed smoking.
They’ll be handy, as if I ever take up smoking the devil’s lettuce, I’m going to need to keep it on the down low.
However, the amusing part about your brother’s weed habit isn’t how he got away with it, it’s the statement “for years my moms house “.![]()

How many of y'all know or have lived with an alcoholic? It's both for me. I'll take someone smoking weed all day long over the people I know that pop a top every day.
My point is we ALL have different views. If we are going to "follow the science" then let's see where it takes us. Instead, we have .gov deciding what makes society safe and what is dangerous.
I used to work security at a concert venue. I'd rather toss out a weed smoker than a drunk any day. The smokers would follow you to the exit once you told them they had to go. A drunk, on the other hand, would want to fight the whole way to the door, more times than not.
Its time to treat addiction as an illness regardless of the drug. I think if we spend the resources we spend on the war against drugs treating addiction and mental illness we could then go after dealers.
Focus on things like fentanyl & prescription pill abuse and quit putting addicts in jail because it doesn't work.

I did not say someone else’s choice was not ok. I don’t agree with one being legal and the other not being legal. My job choice required random drug test for 34 years of my life while trying to get someone fired for smelling like alcohol was like pulling teeth. I don’t like the double standard.
