The purpose of the old covenant and its laws was to make the Israelites understand what sin was and what was best for them. The new covenant is "easier" - ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
If everyone lived this way, do you think we would be better off as a community/state/nation/world??

Spouses in those days were the property of their father until they were given to their husbands and became their property, which as you know in the muslim world and some other parts of the world, it is the same to this day.

That's the BS narrative that is been floated by many within those circles to create wealth equality by demanding 'reparation', yet as I said no true facts have been provided apart to the usual oppressed rhetoric.
Slavery is been over for over 150 yrs, and many of those discentents have done very well for themselves, so why are they not helping those that seem to have not faired as well even those many things have been done in their favor.
I come from a Sicilian immigrant family that believed in hard work, not hand outs, and I can tell you that those believes have served us very well, by the grace of Christ.

Why do some of you post in a forum titled “Increasing Your Faith” if your whole purpose is to try and justify your lack thereof?
You’re not here to debate. Just argue. And to try (unsuccessfully) to chip away at other’s foundation for their faith from what I see.
