    Impulse has a 12 volt 125 amp hr. Lithium Starting battery and a sponsor on BBC. It’s not an inexpensive battery though. About triple what you paid for the Weize. Again, Mercury doesn’t recommend the Lithium Starting on the 2 strokes. I went lithium and may have ran into problems with it. It’s in a local shop now for diagnosis. Will know more later.

    Yes, I missed the 2 stroke exclusion...guess I will stick with X2 till things are figured out...hope all goes well with your problem sir...if you would, could you advise me of your outcome please...thanks!..Jim..

    Had some issues that I thought may be related to adding a Lithium starting batt. Seems it’s not related just common Opti issues. Lost a Coil, Main Power Relay, and ignition fuse kept blowing. Murphys law says it’s all gonna happen on a week long trip 1000 miles from home!!!
