Reata boat cover replacement

I have a 2013 Reata that I purchased from a former Ranger dealer. It had 36 hrs on the motor, and was stored in a shop its entire life, it is pristine. It came with a Ranger factory boat cover that has barely seen any time outside.

To make a long story short, my neighbor was burning his pasture, and the wind switched and blew embers onto my boat that landed on the cover and burned 15-20 small holes in it. He has offered to replace the cover with a Ranger cover...even after learning that Ranger quoted $1200 for a replacement cover.

Does anyone have any thoughts about a similar quality cover? I appreciate my neighbor stepping up to replace the cover and would be open to having a less expensive option if the quality and fit were similar.

Just my experience. I looked around for covers a few years back. I wasn't able to locate anything close to a Ranger cover. Its fit for the specfic boat, windows, pedistal seats, trolling motor etc. I trailer with my cover and for me it was worth the additional $$ for the exact fit. However I do see others talking about covers that are a great fit. I cannot recall the name but I think they are a sponser here on BBC. I'm sure someone will be along soon that has info and or experience with another cover.
