Sorry, this lift assist only works on MAXXUM. I will be happy to send that if you want.
BTW. The Ultrex has a lift assist built in. There are three different pressure cylinders available from Minn Kota and Ron Meadows has a custom adjustable assist. Check for Ron’s post in the trolling motor section.

Hey Bill, your PDF instructions were great and everything went as outlined. I did find that if you take a 7/8 spade bit and drill before you drill out your tap hole, you can cut a perfect relief in the plastic so that your 3/8 SS washers can sit perfectly flat. I have attached a pic to show what I mean. Thank you again for this wonderful bit of engineering.

The MAXXUM is a great trolling motor, mine was a 24 volt 80#. I upgraded to an Ultrex 4 years ago but I changed the bow guard to a Fortrex bow guard and still use it as a backup.
