Hey guys, exactly what is the difference between Sufix Elite and Sufix Siege ????? I was thinking about trying some on both spinning and levelwind rigs (8# and probably 12#) but from looking at the packages I dont see anything that jumps out at me telling me the different characteristics between the two. Anybody out there using either or both? Whats the scoop. Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
Dont know the difference but I have been using the elite in 17lb and I like it a lot. Seems to be a very good line

Thanks for the info guys. I assume yall use it......... how's the stretch, coiling etc with both?
ones smoother casting, ones tougher, (xl / xt). I have been using Suffix for the last 10-12 months after years of Stren use. I like it, and it seems to me to be a little smoother on the spinning use. But I respool spinning reels very often anyway. Where I have noticed it the most is on my crank bait rods, and it has held up and cast very well. For pitching the heavier line is smooth, but I would stick to the Siege for heavy cover only.

I've used both on spinning reels and I feel that the elite has more line twist. I like using the seige in 10lb on my crankbait rod.

Elite is better casting, siege is tougher. I have used Elite for about 9 months now and like it. Just of my first spool of siege, took a piece and played around with it looks good and seems to have pretty low stretch.

...I have 20lb test siege on my spinnerbait rod....I know it is time to respool (6 months)...But I find it breaking at the knot.
