    Warranty

What do I have to do to register me as the engine owner with Mercury. I bought the boat and motor used and I thought I had to inform Mercury I was the new owner, but now I can't find that information. It's 250 Pro XS I bought it in Oct. It was new in Feb 2008.

The easiest way is to have your dealer fax in a copy of the bill of sale, requesting the warranty be transferred.

    Re: Warranty (EuropeanAM)

I bought it from an individual, but I'm sure my servicing dealer will fax a copy of my bill of sale in for me. I need to go pick up some oil and quicklean and have them preform my 100 hr. service anyway. I had the # to fax it too but I can't find it on their website anymore.

Your dealer should have it. If for any reason you have difficulties getting it taken care of, give me a call.
