the one crank bait aside from spinner baits are the rattletraps.

what are your best colors and when is the best time to present them?? if anyone has a better lure thats similar chime in! thanks guys

Love the Rapala rattalen raps in shad color caugh a ton of fish on this one color also like the Lucky craft LVR series. Not used but once but I have only fished for 2 hours this year so far but these will be killer traps around here.

I like the Excalibur traps mostly in shad pattern. I throw them spring and fall. Never had much luck in summer.

i like to throw rattle traps in a chrome bleeding shad color. works great on bright, sunny days.

I throw a 1/2 oz Rat-L-Trap in Lectric bleeding, red crawfish and Limon/orange belly. This bait can be used in many different presentations.

It can be thrown out and reeled straight in, yo-yo'd around cover, worked like a jig bouncing it off the bottom. You can fish this bait in 1 foot of water or 20 foot of water and can work it fast or slow. I always have a Trap tied on a rod in the boat and is my go to bait when I need fish.

i love em i like the chrome with blue or black the chrome paint does chip off real easy though

I love lipless crankbaits. As was posted above, you can fish them many differnt ways.

I've got several different manufacturers.........Rattletrap, Rattlin Rapala, Berkley frenzy, Spro, and some type of japanese baits that I got at a show from a custom guy. (these are really cheap but look great)

Colors I like are chrome with black back, bone with black back, chrome with blue back, bluegill, red craw, or baby bass. I have several sizes in each color, but mostly I throw the bone with black back. For sunny days, I like the chrome, and for cloudy, I like more of a flat color.

My favorite of all of the ones I have is the Berkley Frenzy.
