how the heck do you use a "Chatterbait"??

Most fish it like a spinnerbait. I have had some luck "hopping" it off the bottom.

Work it at a medium to slow retrieve. and I lke to hesitate it just lke a spinnerbait.

also do a steady retrieve(like a spinnerbait)anywhere from 2-10 feet deep then suddenly give it 4-5 really fast turns(burn it)makes it do a ''walk the dog'' action

I fish it like a spinnerbait and I really don't think you can fish it a wrong way.

hop it off the bottom, reel it back like you would a spinner bait or crank bait, if you get a 1/4 you can burn it and it really gives an erratic side to side action works great in and around grass.

I like to twitch it, pause it try to suspend it, constant retrieve, like you said, there's really no wrong way to fish it. I had my best luck with a constant retrieve with added twitches that caused it to dart a bit

I fish mine with a varied retrieve, but only fish it near grass or other ambush points and I mostly fish mine when the wind is blowing..... also, I think the only wrong way to fish it is to dead stick it

The only wrong way I can think of is tying it on the end of your line! j/k! but haven't had any luck with them myself

I had some luck fishing it like a spinner bait around schooling bass

This past weekend I took the skirt off and put a 4" senko on the hook and caught a few with it. My partner looked at me stupid until i caught 4 to his 1. It looks different and I like it.

I used it this weekend and it helped me and my partner catch a 21 pound + limit in our tourney. He used a spinner bait I used a Chatterbait. I used the back 2/3 of a 5 inch Senko for a trailer they work great fished just like you would fish a spinner bait the only difference I noticed is that I could not fish it as deep as the spinner bait as I feel the blade causes the bait to have more lift.

Put a fluke on it for spotted bass and reel it about as fast as you can!
