Just saw on north american fisherman a new drop shot hook that has a extra loop for the line to go back through to feed the line down to the weight which keeps the hook perfectly straight out. It looks like a perfect deal.
Who makes these hooks?

Daiichi has that type hook. They are called the Stand Out hook. Pretty cool idea.
I've got some of those and they work great as far as keeping the bait straight out from the line. The only thing I've seen is the line gets rapped around the hook fairly easy.
I tried them and did not like them...while they do hold the bait out I lost more fish on them than my normal 'shot hooks...it seems they would suck the whole hook in and then the bite of the hook is next to none! just my opinion tho.
You can have the same result with regular dropshot hooks. Do you normal polamor not and run your line back through the eye of the hook once before you tie on your weight. That should keep your hook/bait straight.
