I did a search on this here and it showed several remedies. Anything from axel grease to Teflon washers.
I Like the washer idea (no mess) but does it really work?
What are you using to keep the squeaks a bay?
I know this has been talked about before so please forgive me.
They make a grease called silicone grease...clear and not messy and a quick fix. Use a little and throw the rest of the tube somewhere in the boat storage. Quick and easy.

I had that problem with my casting seat/pedestal mount, try spraying Real Magic or line conditioner on the friction points, it works
