Hook Replacement

I know that a lot of you all change the hooks on Rat L Traps and other vibrating crankbaits... my question is do you replace them with trebles of the same size or do you up grade. I recently put a bunch of #6 replacement trebles on my vibrating cranks and I noticed that some of the original hooks were larger. Do you all put #4 replacement trebles as your back hooks if you want larger hooks?

Yeap.. 4's and 6's ... use gamy's too ..

i use 4's and 6's also but i use triple grips on the smaller baits because they are lite wire and excaliburs t-3's on the larger ones cause they are stronger

I always replace with original sizes unless made in Japan. Those often have undersized hooks. If I can change up one size at least on one treble without changing the action, I'll do that, and often put a red hook up front to imitate gill flash.

Gamms #5 (special order) on the back of most all cranks with a red #4 of some brand you like on the front... man, it makes a difference on bigger fish... pros right again on this issue.
