Just got the Yamamoto catalog and they now only have 7 colors of skirts, and 020 Black is not one of them. Man I use the skirts alot to make different hula grubs and add colors to rubber jigs. I hope the other colors are still around.

rb, Chances are they are discontinuing those particular colors if they are not listed in the catalog. HOWEVER, That doesn't mean they don't have them in stock. My guess is they are still in stock and once out that's the end of them. Might want to call GYCB and ask.

Rick,
I had soemone else ask the same question, and I am not certain but will definately ask. I too like to mix and match. I do think that since the introduction of the Hula Grub a few years ago, there are only a few of us "Old Timers" who still like to use the twin tails and double skirts to add the bulk to our baits. Many have never even tried the original skrt and tail rigged combo. The difference is amazing, and like you I rarely fish the same skirt and tails.
Black is my all time favorite, but I also use cinnamon, watermelon red, and green pumpkin a lot.
I have a few bottles of black dye, and use it a lot for the black skirts. Works just fine. I get mine from Pete Baldwin at Lakehawk if you can't find black anywhere else.
