    Cure for foggy sunglasses?

I have had a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses for about 6 months and they are great. For some reason they tend to fog up very easily. This is really starting get on my nerves. Anyone know a cure?

I bought a package of a cleaning rag at my local K Mart that has an antifog agent in it. They work pretty good, just have to use them every trip. They were pretty cheap, like 5 bucks for a back of 10.

Re: Cure for foggy sunglasses? (Neilslure)

I've got a pair of Costa glasses also and that is my only complaint about them. Some days, I guess when its really humid, they fog up easily. I've tried several kinds of sprays on the lenses that are suppose to keep them from fogging and none has worked yet. This is my only complaint about these glasses. I've found you can pull them down on your nose a little to let more air get in behind them but you shouldn't have to do that with a pair of glasses that expensive. If anyone knows of a fix to keep these from fogging up please post it.

One of my friends wears Costa's also. He has a different frame and lenses than I have and his will do it also. I'm starting to wonder if maybe all Costa's do it. If I don't figure something out to stop it then I'm going to have to switch to a different brand of glasses. I do know that, I don't know if I can put up with it again this summer.

I have the Costa Deep Blues, and fogging is the only complaint I, too, have about them. Other than that, great product.

I have a pair of maui jims that did the same thing, mainly when I have my fish headz on. I put rain x anti fog on them and cured the problem. I don't know if this was bad or not, but it worked.

Re: Cure for foggy sunglasses? (canadianchampion)

I've tried 3 or 4 different types of anti fog spray and wipes with mine and on some days they still fog up using them. I don't know what the deal is, their the only glasses I've ever had that I've had this problem with. I love the glasses, I hate to have to switch to something else. I hope Costa will have an answer to solve the problem.

I don't know anything about those sunglasses. But if they have glass lenses instead of plastic, they will break easier and fog easier than plastic.

I have a pair of Polarized Revo's right now that do the same thing, my Oakley's did it as well. I always figured that it was something that I would have to deal with. Please keep us informed if you hear anything from Costa.

I use Maui Jims and they will occasionally fog also. I hate to be the one to bring this up, but has anyone tried bass boat saver on their lenses? It seems to work for everything else.

There is/was a product made by EK accessories, logan ut, called cat crap. Worked very well. I would find it in snowboard/ski shops.

try cleaning them with spit and a dry piece of Tee shirt(works best for me)and I also give them a good cleaning with a my towel after drying off from a shower(to get the facial oils off) then clean with spit/Tshirt afterwards
seems to me all the cleaners just smear the oils around
