    2003 175 hp johnson part.

Anyone know where I can find a pair of the plastic rods….well they look like rods, but appear more like antennas, that are attached to the motor? I heard they no longer make them. Thank you in advance.

Use this link https://epc.brp.com/Index.aspx?lang=...-4f28b0b531c6# to look up the reference number and part number then come back with your results. If the parts are what is mentioned by Championman, there may be an alternative assembly process. What is wrong with the existing parts?

These can be reconfigured with common small brass tubes and fittings from your local hardware store. They do not need to be plastic.
There are also plastic fittings and hoses that will work too they just need to be fuel
    resistant.

No you’re absolutely right. My boat guy said the same thing. I’m very torn. Do I sell my 2003 Champ…or do I sell it and get a Hobie? Getting a used boat for what they are going for now seems like ludicrous.

Bought two of each on eBay. 3 were used. One brand new. Seriously vexed w regards to selling my boat. Don’t want a new motor for it, so I’m contemplating selling and buying a Hobie. 1st world problems for a 52 year old man who is having anxiety over selling something I adore.

Buy a good used motor & keep the champ since you adore it. Easy choice to me.
