What lake doesn't suck right now?

Greeson, had a tourny there today caught fish all day long, they looked like bass only smaller

Went to Broken Bow last Tuesday and put over 200 in the boat between the two of us. Biggest bass was 4.5 pounds and had a 3 pound walleye bonus. About 40% of the total was white bass, but I’ll weed through some sandies to catch good blacks. No idea about your area though.

Maybe I should rephrase the question. I suck at fishing the lakes around here apparently, so where different could I go and suck there?

I've been doing OK on Maumelle but I also know a thing or two about that lake. I bet I'm on it over 100 times a year. Always an open seat in my boat if you wanna ride along.

I've been off the water for the past 2 weeks....on a cruise down to Mexico/Honduras. I'll be back on Ouachita the next two weekends though. Maybe catch another 8lber....lol

I’ve fished Degray the last couple days and have been able to put a few in the boat. Caught a 4, 3, and 3 two powners today. Blacks. Plus 6 spots. I think it’s further along than Quachita. Water temps low 60’s. Just glad to put a few in the boat.

Let me know when you wanna go and we'll work something out. I work second shift and am off Wednesday and Thursday so fishing comes easy for me. I need to get Gene back out there with me too sometime. He'll vouch for me not being a total nut, lol. I'm headed to Maumelle tomorrow to quickly check on what the white activity is like funneling up into the creek but if I can't locate a big wad of them pretty fast I'm going business as usual for blacks since they're usually a pretty reliable bite.

We do need to fish together soon, and nobody is a total nut, but anyone that fishes with me is over halfway there.

Did OK during my 9 hours on Maumelle today. Spent more than half the day fishing water I had little confidence in just to see if they were there. Had 2 bass from 9:30-3:30ish. Caught the other 14 after I quit hunting and went to a couple of my honey holes. Just one of those days where the hunt wasn't a bust because I eliminated water and the upper end is a shell of what it was last year thanks to them killing most of the grass.

Was on Ouachita Tuesday and we caught some nice Bass down by the State Park on the north side with floating worms. We had to fish a little deeper but they were there. Was also on Hamilton yesterday and a lot of fish started moving up around noon. No spawning activity anywhere but with the full moon coming it will be on pretty soon.
