    Removing Mercury Badges from Pro XS 4s Cowl

    Have a new decal set including custom domed badges. What is the best way to remove the existing ones?

    I have a 300R and I removed the raised lettering decals that said "300R", "Mercury", and a round badge as follows. I heated the raised letters up with a hair dryer, and while we see-sawed a small monofilament under the raised decal (like cutting a cake with a string). They were removed easily like this without and damage and then I used double faced tape to reapply them to the cowl which was sent out for painting.

    I changed mine to blue to match my boat. Wasn't as hard as I thought. Heat gun and goo-gone.
