    Trim leak (Warranty?)

Was putting boat away today and while trimming the motor down I noticed a leak at the bottom of the left trim cylinder where it connects to the tilt cylinder. The motor is a '06 225 Pro XS with the 5 year warranty. Is there any reason this wouldn't be covered? Don't know if I should fix it myself or take to a dealer. (mine just closed their doors(Plapps))

You should be covered for that failure under most instances.

Thanks Don, I just checked it this A.M. and couldn't get it to leak. I'll try and get it to a dealer. Phil R
