We were thinking the same thing.

But seriously, Sunday during our tournament, I was wondering as another boat idled by - How is it that my Garmin isn't messing up the signal on his Garmin, and vice versa? Aren't they both sending out the same frequency of sound? Why doesn't mine "hear" the pings from his transducer? Would I have to point my transducer at his boat for that to happen?
