Mapping. I can’t imagine fishing anymore not having the map. I mainly offshore though.
This is what I am doing with 10" screens,one Garmin and one HB
Two nines on my bow. Will be FFS sonar on one and split screen of 2d and map on the other. If covering water I may switch the ffs off and kick on the side imaging.
On my 2nd unit its side/down imaging or one or the other......really no need for maps where I fish....

Mega 360 split screen with 2D/Di. I also split the screen on the Mega Live and put a map. Both screens are usually 70/30 splits with the M360 and ML taking up the larger real estate. Really cool how you can get a complete picture of what's happening down there!

I run a map usually on my second unit. A lot of guys have a bird up there too so they run 360 on there as well.

I dont have ffs. But two unites on the bow one running side imaging and down imaging split. And the other full screen charts. I fish smallmouth mostly so having the full screen were i can see my waypoints is huge. Can help me move from one rock to the next on the trolling motor and tell me were to cast to.
A 12" with FFS and a 7" with 2d and map split.

Single bow unit. 12 with active target. I've never used mapping at the bow. (and don't try to get me $tarted LOL)
