Looks like right now he needs 8 oz, and his smallest to cull is a 2lb 3oz, so he still has room: (edit, since posting he caught another 2.0)

I would imagine the guy actually doing it probably has a better insight than any of us. I bet Poche knows what he is doing.

Not entirely true. Let’s take John Coxs crestliner as an example.

A 21’ crestliner base model with a 250, $60,000. Comes with a fortrex, and trailer but does not include batteries, charger, or any electronics.

A Nitro 21XL base model is $65,000 that includes a fortrex, 3 batteries, 2 lowrance 7” units, 3 bank charger, and a spare tire.

so actually, the Crestliner would end up being right around the same amount as a glitter sled.

people think these boats are 30k but they aren’t. Xpress is probably the most affordable option out there for a 21’ tin and even they are nearing 60k with a 250. Poches GatorTrax with a 250 is around 80-100k fully loaded. That’s right off the gator Trax website.

The Classic doesn't start tomorrow. If he makes the cut i imagine he'll fish tomorrow. Them come fish the classic Friday. My back and knees hurt just thinking about fishing that many days in a row.

Poche is in the cut as of beginning of 3rd period in 7th. So he's looking strong. But, I'd guess that cut line is going to get a little crazy over the next 2-1/2 hours.

The fact he made the run all the way up into Rogersville, shows he's trying to win it. If those fish bite, he will.
