I'm sure they'll cook something insane up to try to get him to skip the classic. If he does skip imagine being the first man out of qualifying for the classic. Or the first man out of elite qualification when he ends up missing more tournaments this year.
The fact they actively schedule on top of opens and other tours then come up with rediculous consequences for missing days is some grade A bs.

I still say the simple answer is he just drives over to the meeting when he's done fishing tomorrow. It's not like he's that far away.
Same just for making the Classic. I guess he wanted 20k instead of just 10k.

I'm sure he is/was there. He was off today at BPT, his qualifying round was yesterday. The host site for the BPT event is only 30 mins from downtown Knoxville. Hell, he's probably staying in same hotel for both events? Though I seem to remember them providing lodging for Qualifiers at least at one time?
